It’s very hard to decide what photos to use to my portrait project. Any suggestions?

I was shooting some photos to my photo portrait project. The weather was ok. It wasn’t actually raining at all, they were watering the lawn :D
It was a bit cold but the sun was shining.
My portrait challenge
I had my last “real” school day ever today (in middle school/compulsory school…)! I couldn’t feel any better. wohoo!
But I haven’t got summer holidays yet. For the next two weeks I’m going to do a big school project about portrait photography. I decided to take and write about portraits because I’m not so good at photographing people, so this will be a little challenge to me. I have a few models already so I’m very enthusiastic to start shooting.
If you have any ideas or tips in portrait techniques or some good books about photography then share with me, please. =)
